About the Vaccine
RSV vaccines work by helping your immune system recognise and fight the virus.
- Given as a single injection in the upper arm
- Protection develops over 2-4 weeks
- Side effects are generally mild: injection site soreness, mild headache, fatigue
- Particularly important before winter RSV season (October-March)
